Ls2 transmission question???

I found a ls2 2005 c6 vette motor but question is what does it take to mount a 4l60e or 80e to it? I know they didn't have the typical tranmission in the corvettes so was just wondering before I buy the motor if it's doable swap

Corvette Engine is the same as every other LS Engine out there. Nothing different at all. Just make sure if it has the larger Pilot Bearing in the back of the Crank that it's removed.

T56 and 4L60E is the same in the Corvettes as anything else, it's just in the back.

Ok thanks So what flex plate and torque converter I should go with when going with a 4l60?

Depends on the size of the cam, most streetable cars are between 3000-3600.

Just depends on what you want to build. Gen III is my preference, 24X Crank with a 0411 PCM. Simple and works, bunch of things you can do when tuning.

Its worth noting that the 2005 and Up Corvettes DO NOT interchange the torque converters and flexplates with their Camaro and Silverado counter parts. In reference to converter fitment here is the break down:

2004 & Older Corvette w/4L60E: Standard 700R4/early 4L60 style converter (LT style)

The rest of Corvette specific fitments are as follows:
2005 Corvette Only (4L60E)
2006-2013 Corvettes (6L80/90)
2014 Corvette Only (6L80/90)
20015-2019 Corvettes (8L90)
