I have a billet slide yoke that has been sitting on my shelf for years that I was planning on using on my project C10 and it is unvented. The trans I am using is a truck trans that has the can with o-ring that is used on vented yokes. Do I just remove the can and use the unvented yoke, or am I missing something? Is there any reason I should not use the unvented yoke? I am getting close to getting this trans all buttoned up, and was going to pull the can off before I bolted up the tailshaft housing today.
