Default Shout Out To Frank!

Huge shout out to Frank @ Franks Custom Transmissions! I followed his 4l60e tips and tricks to rebuild my transmission. This thing feels so solid now, shifts are quick and crisp. I had sent him my 2-3 shift valve to be modified and man is it impressive! My 2-3 shift is set at 6500 and I promise you it's in third every time before it even get's close to 6600.

Yes I remember years ago the first time I did try this mod, On the dyno I clicked to 3rd and bam it was in 3rd before the switch totally bottomed lol. Without the mod at full line it was flick count 1-2 real fast and shift and with it simply as non scientific as this sounds it was simply BAM You're in. Never ever got what used to be the common call. I have my shift points for 1-2 and 2-3 set at 6800 and the 2-3 hit rev limiter set at 7k before the shift happens and i have to let off the throttle again lol. In fact had one guy years ago did a before after graph wish I still had it and the 2-3 command to shift was actually faster than the 1-2 in his data log as i remember 1/2 the time in MS
