Broke the connector going into my 4l80 when i was fitting it up for my swap. Gotta drop the pan to replace it but im unsure what year it is. Has the top bolt hole but the harnesses seem to be different for the 99-04 and 05-09 i think it says? Im wondering if theres an actual difference considering the outer harness is the same for both or if i need to actually find out what year it is. Thanks!

 

Assuming original harness and Presure control solenoid you need this one ,
However if the units been rebuilt and harness changed or EPC it could be an earlier version, If you are not sure I would order the harness above plus This way if unsure without droppong pan first you will be set .

 

So will that harness work even if its earlier than an 04? Im gonna take a look tomorrow to see if it has the tag on it still for the year but i dont remember seeing one on it. Is there any other way of telling what year it is?

 

Yes as long as you get the matching pressure control solenoid to the harness it will work in any model after 93 . So if you buy those two parts yes guaranteed to work in any year 94 up.
