Default Manual 4l80E Trans Brake Options

Hello, I have a 4l80e with a Transgo manual shift kit (4l80e-3). Does anyone know any trans brake setups I can use simultaneously with this shift kit? I like the transgo kit for the strength benefits. But also would like to add a trans brake. I run everything on a terminator x so don't have a tcm.
Thank you.

HONESTLY with what you are looking for and while not a sponsor here (hope I dont get in trouble for this) JAKES would be the best to speak with on this , Though others here may also be able to help , I have not taken time to make any BRAKE setup for the 60E or 80E just dont have the time working alone now days.
I am not sure what his brake setups are compatable with as far as transgo.

Your transgo kit is not going to be compatible with any brake currently on the market.

Extreme automatics or ATD (known for their "hipster" line of valve bodies) are your 2 quality options for a fully manual 4l80e transbrake valve body.

They are both reverse shift pattern

If you wish for a fwd shift pattern, it will not be *truly* manual.
All the FWD I know of currently on the market still use solenoids to shift, they're just controlled via the Pressure Switch Manifold directly rather than from an ECM.
This means a bad solenoid, trash in the screen, etc can all cause the same issues as an auto shift.

Thank you, did some reading on extreme automatics website I believe I'm going to go with them. I can deal with a reverse shift pattern. Just wanted to make sure I keep lockup, looks like I'll be able to👍

I can make the Transgo HD-3 a transbrake, but any other option would be better IMO. I would buy an Extreme Automatics valve body for full manual operation before anything else on the market 100 times over.
