6l80 inconsistent shifts
hey guys so i have a 6l80 i did about 7-8 months ago and truck came back couple days ago due to some flare/hard shifts going into 2-3 sometimes would flare random shifts aswell shift quality was bad inconsistent would shift great sometimes then start flaring or hard shifts. so i checked pressures and they were around 120psi all around trans was cold when tested. i dropped the pan and it was very clean i decided to swap out techms but then i opted to drop trans to do a over all check i thought forsure the 35r drum cracked. transmission has 7k miles on it since the rebuild everything looks good re vacuum checking everything pr valve pulls 24 has all new ring’s and seals. also had harsh downshifts so i started checking clutch clearances and every clutch pack has excessive clearances. 1234 has .114 clearance 456 has like .090 clearance both 26 and LR have like .075 clearance clutch’s look great to the eye they are BW frictions with the original steels since when i repaired the trans it only had 100k on the dash.. so steels were still in great conditions so now im leaning towards techm forsure for the inconsistent shifts but do you guys think the techm was the problem due to making this clutchs get “worn” down? when i first rebuilt it the truck would shift great customer left happy and never had issues till now truck is not tuned or anything just a regular stock silverado thanks
