convert to auto?
What all i needed and what transmission did you use converting to auto 4l60e 4l80e TH350 or 700r4.
I understand flexplate, torque converter and the transmission itself with a auto driveshaft as well as aftermarket auto transmission crossmember and ratchet or same vehicle with stock shifter.
Just curious what you guys used for lock up or pcm control the 4l60e, 4l80e? They have the toggle switch lock up with harness which is fairly cheap. I seen quickshift 4 but are there any other options. For a TH350 there is no need for a kickdown cable like the old cars just a stahl converter with lockup?
How much did it cost you to swap to auto considering you did the work yourself?
