T400 delays going from 1-2 at track

T400 delays going from 1-2 at track For some reason my T400 has a little delay when I make the 1-2 shift at the track. On the street at regular rpm it goes right in. the 2-3 is fine also. It doesn't seem to be slipping....just takes a second to shift. Unit has about 1500...maybe 2000 miles on it. Could the fluid need changed? Anything else to look for?
If its a regular valve body thats fairly common, if its a full manual valve body there should be no delay at all. Check the linkage adjustment and fluid level (too much is just as bad as too little) and if it looks ok and you have a manual valve body call your builder...
