do the 4l60e and the t-56 have the same demensions?!? i am about to put my ls1 with a 4l60e in my 68 firebird and i am a lil lost on the crossmember potion of it. i have found a crossmember that will work for the t-56 and i emailed the manufacter of it and he had no idea if it would work for the 4l60e?!? so that is why i am trin to find out it they are the same length and the tranny mounts are located in the same spot on each of them?!? thanks in advance

Swaps between A4's and M6's require a crossmember change, so they do not interchange ...
