Default Can a bad verter kill ur traps?

I ran my Z28 for the first time since new mods bout a montyh ago and got a 12.45@109.9mph w/ 1.78 60ft on nitto DRs. Has all usual bolt-ons, vig3200, f11 cam, macs w/ x-pipe, and 3.42 gears. weather was pretty good. I ran 13.20s@107mph( 330rwhp) before the cam, intake, and verter. It dynoed 388rwhp after the cam but my traps only went up 3mph w/ a 58rwhp increase. Can the converter be bad? any suggestions?

Converter efficiency will affect trap speed somewhat. And even with a fairly efficient converter, expect to trap a little less than an M6, unless you lock up the converter in 3rd gear.

your 60ft is not that good , are you hooking up or spinning, are you coming out full throttle.. what was the weather like. your mph has gone up 3 mph which seems to be pretty close for your hp increase...

weather was good. Went WOT off idle. If i stalled it up it would just spin & get 2.0 60s. On the 1.78 60ft it seemed to hook pretty good. It was on DRs and stock suspension except for LCAs
