Default Anyone with 3200VIG come in! Pease!

i was just wondering how you launch your car with the 3200VIG.... i heard a lot of people saying they like to be launched at 1000-1200 RPMs.. holding the brake and holding the gas down at 1200 RPMs .. then when the green light goes..let off the brake and mash it.. Should i try bringing it up to just before i get wheel spin? How is your experience with your Vigilante and how do you launch with it? Let me know!

i come out of the hole at around 1200 rpm and flash it (step into it) rather than stalling it up real high and just letting off the brake.

do some experimenting, if you flash it, the hit will be much more violent. i can't flat punch it off the line or itll blow the tires off but i flash it to about half throttle and then a split second later, roll into the pedal the rest of the way down.

Your best bet is to hold it between 900-1100 and flash it(floor it/foot off brake) and hold on, but thats considering you have good traction, stalling it up will not yeild as good of a flash point and you'll actually lose time on your 60' in my experience. If your on street tires your best bet is to feather it out of the hole and then floor it. I tried flashing it on street tires once and it wasn't a pretty site

Alright sounds great.. sounds like its good anywhere between the 800-1200 RPM range to flash it.. I am going to have to get the QA1 adjustable shocks to keep my tires to the ground.. and possible some MT ET streets and see how it goes from there.. my best was a 12.7 but i was only running 2.0 60 ft times.. which were junk.. i should atleast be in the 1.8-1.9 range.. Thanks a lot guys!

if you can get it to hook you should be running way lower than 1.8s, i would say definite 1.6s, maybe even a high 1.5.
