Default changed stall on my verter, now i have a small problem

changed the stall on my verter from 3000 to 3800. when i went to the track with my new setup, my car shifted into 3rd about 100ft from the finish line. im thinking about changing my gear to eaither 4.11 or something lower then what i have right now (3.73). what do you guys think i should do?

I assume you meant that you shifted into 4th. You should shift into 3rd around the 1/8 mile mark unless you are running 28" ties.

373s are more than enough gear for your MPH. Fix your shift points.

4.11s are only marginally faster than 3.73s

definitely. Raise all your shifts to 6500. With your cam you'll squeak into the 11s and gain 2 mph if you have been shifting at 6000.

I would set them at about 6300 so you give the comp. a little time to react. I had to adjust mine when I went to a big shot(Dope) bc the gauges couldnt keep up. Just my 2 cents.
