Need some opinions on SY3500 & Y3200
I'm looking to get a converter in the near future and narrowed down my choices to the Y3200 and SY3500. My car is a daily driver, doesn't see the track, drives mostly on the interstate, and has 3.23 gears, and Nitto 555 tires (not drag radial).
Having a reasonaly tight converter with good street manners is pretty important to me, but I want to minimize my traction problems so that's why I'm wanting to stay away from converters with a 2.5 STR and above (was considering a Vig 2800). Can the people that have/had either the SY3500 or the Y3200 converters comment on their street manners and performance? I mainly do my spirited driving from a roll and only have an exhaust and lid right now with headers in the future as well.
Thanks!
Adam

The SY 3500 is the way to go. You'll learn to launch it hard in no time flat. Definitely looser than stock but not bad with a quiet exhaust, even in daily driver mode. Don't stare at the tach for the first 2 days and you'll be adjusted to it. It will also be much better from a roll than the Y3200.
