Need help bad, Tranny not working.
Need help bad, Tranny not working. Well tonight my tranny **** on me again. The problem started by a check engine light then followed a tranny fluid hot light. The truck was fine until I shimmed my stall as recommended by Precision Industries. Now the truck will not even go into gear. Every gear is like netural now. The code that came up was 1870 which acording to my hanes manual it is tranny slipping code. The stall and transgo shift kit was installed a week ago and worked fine until I shimmed the stall today. I have tried to take the shimms out and it did not make a difference, it still will not go into gear. any ideas? what can I do? can the stall be messed up? Also can I put a 4l80 on a 4.8?
