Trans fluid change to come soon! I have a 1998 Formula A4 and plan on changing the fluid in it. I bought the B&M Trick Shift because it was not as expensive as AMS or royal Purple and seemed more trust worthy that Quaker State. What kind would you guys suggest.
I did not put in the B&M stuff in yet because i wanted to make sure it was good enough to use. please help me out, is there anywhere online i could buy this stuff?

Just stick with standard Dexron III from a reputable oil company, and if your car is below 50,000 miles, have the tranny powerflushed when you change the fluid and filter.

The B&M Trick Shift is type "F" Ford fluid that has not been required since 1977, since they outlawed asbestos in the clutch & band material. Tghis will do nothing except hram in the long run on this unit. Dexron III of a good quality is all you need for this unit. For synthetics, use Amsoil or Redline for good results. And for non-synthetics, Mobil or Aamco Dexron III will do the job.
