Alright, I'll check it out when I get the car. Once papers are done gotta go get it in Florida and drive it back. Gonna put the catback on myself and then when I'm ready put the converter in. Don't have tires for that thing yet.

Yeah I know, done it before when I had my 99 T/A but then lost it in an accident when my front tire blew. It's been a little over a year and now I'm back in an LS1, just a different body. Reborn you could say.

Check into the SY3500.
great combo with your current set up.
I too have a small cam 220/220 .553 .553 112 + 4. & 323 gears.

Did it require andy tuning? Does it chatter when it locks up? Does it stay locked when it is supposed too?

what is the shift extention for the SS3600/2.5 and the SS3800/2.55 ?

i have the SS4000/2.6
when the car shifts at 6000rpm
it drops to 4700rpm

i am curious to see how the increasing STRs change the shift extention of the increasing stall speeds.

I just put the SS3600 in my car about 4 months ago. I just got my first run at the track this past week. It is actually more streetable than the stock cam in my opinion. I used to have to hold the brake really hard because the car was always wanting to go forward. Now it is mild off the line.
Gas mileage sucks in town. I went from 240 a tank to 175 a tank. This is an average of city and hw driving. At the track I went from a 12.5@110 to a 12.2@111. I was hoping for 11's. I may still hit that mark once I figure out the best shift rpm, launch rpm, and tire pressure.

I've got the ss4000e and i love it..... it hits sooooo freakin hard! when i swap trannies im gonna go with a 4300 stall though. it feels good on the road and strip! pulls front tire (driver side) on stock internal A4!
