Default Tranny/Converter Issues After New Cam Install

After installation of my new, bigger cam recently my converter won't stay locked up in OD which, in turn, causes my ATF temps to creep up. Also, because of the slippage involved with the converter unlocking when it should be locked, I'm throwing two DTCs both tranny-related, P0748 - pressure control solenoid electrical and P1870 - transmission component slippage. I experience none of these problems in 3rd gear, only in OD.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure they're related to the size of the cam and the perceived misfires created by it. Is there a fix? Thanks!

deleting the random misfires code will cure the unlocking problem if it is misfire related.

I wouldn't think a Y3000 would cause that much slip issues. In F-body's, we tend to throw a similiar code for the 2-3 shift solenoid with larger stalls (e.g over 3500). I have deleted that code in my programming as well.

Thanks.

It's not related to my Yank 3000 which has been in the car for over 3 years. If it is misfire-related as I suspect it is, I believe the cause is the much bigger cam recently installed. In fact, the problem began on the drive home from the cam installation so naturally it's the prime suspect.
