Default Converter is really loose in first gear

Ok so im on my way home from work today and I notice that in first gear my car is really stalling up before moving. I mean we are talking like 3000 rpms before the car even moves. Now the car has a vig3600 stall but ive been driving it for awhile and it never seems to need to stall up this much. 2nd, 3rd, and reverse are fine as usual. When it starts stalling up in first its almost like its slipping alot and then it grabs like its locked up but its not actually locked up. Trans fluid looks fine and the level is fine. I dont know the trans temp as I havent gotten around to installing my gauge but everything seems fine. Car drove fine to work this morning and was also fine on lunch. Going to FLP to check it out Monday as it is one of their built transmissions. Anybody have any ideas?

Mines doing the same thing but only in 2nd gear.. 1,3,4, & reverse are all fine. But 2nd stalls up to around 3700rpm before it even acts like its going to pull. but it still just barely does pull though. I dont know if your having this problem but mine also want shif into 2nd until around 4000rpm or until i let off the gas then get back on it. I would like to know whats wrong also. I started a post in this section but no one will reply. Maybe we'll figure it out. Later, Vann
