Right now I have a TCI 3800 in a SI bolt-on car that my best time has been a 11.51@116mph wit a 1.51 60' in -1050 DA, but I'm looking for a little more. I would really like to get some 11.4-11.3's out of it. I was wondering if a PT 4400 would get me a tenth or two and maybe pickup a few mph? Would the higher shift extensions help me out? Oh and also is there any way you can check the stall of a converter?

 

the PT4200 and 4400 seem to be king of the hill when it comes LS1 converters. I say go for it

Our new SSF4000 converter (PN 242939) is typically worth 1-2 tenths over the 3800. The Comp4400 converter (242934) is worth 3-4 tenths over the 3800...

I'm sure the Yanks would also be comparable.

Lynda, I just want to get in the top 5 SI cars then I am going to put a cam in Oh and my raceweight now is 3460, but I haven't put a cage in yet.

 

Well, then your best bet would be a Yank PT4400

 

What were your shift points(rpm, mph) and rev limiter set at with the 4400 when you were SI?
