The more I read the more I think I should have my converter restalled before I install it. I was thinking 2200 would be fine with the 3.42 Mosier,. This is not a drag car, although I will have to see what it will do in that capacity just out of curiosity. This will be a daily street driven hunter.
When finished it will be:
Aluminum MTI sleeved 427cuin. w/8.8:1(Speed Inc. says approx. 7400 redline),
ATI Supercharged D-1SC intercooled 15psi,
AFR 225 heads,
FAST 90mm intake and TB,
Forged bottom,
KOOKS LT dual cats(Damned Calif.!) Y into 4" into Spintec muff into dual 3" tails,
PATC Bionic 80 4L80E conversion w/of-course 2200 stall,
Mosier 3.42,
Custom Dyno tuning and reprogramming.
Could use some advice on the stall...

Even though that is a massive motor making TONS of power I would still go with a bigger stall. But I am sure your stall stalls much higher than 2200 with all of that power.

That is what I would do...so far converter has been the biggest gain on my car....including my h/c package....lol

Yep, that's the set up I run too. I can't complain much because it's been a pretty affective set up. However, if the car was a N/A only car I would probrably like to restall the converter to 3800 or so.
