Question Slipping transmission?

When I first got my PCM it was shiftin around 5800 which I felt was definatly too early, then it adjusted itself or something then shifted at 6000-6200 RPM's. Then tonight every time in 1st gear bounces off the limiter once and shifts into 2nd gear at ~6500 RPM's. I haven't tried out 2nd or 3rd gear yet to see what they shift at. Does the PCM adjust the shift points itself? My transmission doesnt feel like its slipping... The only difference with tonight is its a littler cooler out and I have drag radials on.

I just smelled the fluid and I think it smells burnt. The fluid on the dipstick doesn't smell anything like the fluid in the bottle of new tranny fluid.

sounds like your 2-4 band is glazed, causing it to slip a little

I just remembered that the 3-4 shift is soft as hell too. Here's a vid of the 3-4 shift. This is before it started shifting at 6400-6500 though....
