LS1 & 4L60e swap info Hi ,I am putting a LS1 and 4L60E in older ride .I have the motor its a 1999 C5 LS1- I am now on the hunt for the trans, Are local used parts supplier has all the trans out and all lined up in racks.I need to know if there is any year that is better than the another (for the 4L60E) if so is there any way to tell the year or best trans by a part code or number on the trans .I need some in put on the best trans choice for this Gen#3 motor - and what parts I need to make it work.
