how much will a stock converter take

how much will a stock converter take i have what i am told is a converter for a big block corrvette. I had this behind what was a n/a 350 makin bout 390 400 hp. it would stall between 2400-2500 rpm behind a small block and a th350. Well now i am building a twin turbo setup and using a th400 with a manual valve body and a bolt on bellhousing. i am planing on making 550-600 hp with my tt motor. will this converter hold up or just break
