Question A4 Question?

Just bought this car & is still under warranty(see sig.). If I'm crusing along @ 50 mph. in drive (3rd gear), feels like the tranny picks up a vibration(only in 3rd gear). Has anyone else experienced this? This is the first A4 I have owned. Also, what is the correct number for the tranny?

I had a similar vibration only in 3rd gear about 2100-2300 rpm, as I recall. It persisted even after changing rear gears and wheels and tires. Gradually, somehow it just went away. I never figured out what it was.

Maybe a driveshaft problem? dent, or out of balance? Mileage on car?

Not quite sure what you are asking, but the transmission is a 4L60E
