Default Th350 vs TH400?

I have been thinking about going to a 3 speed tranny....... but now I can't figure out whether to go with a th350 which would probably make a little more power being smaller and less rotating mass, but what kind of power could a rossler or equivelant be built to hold? What about a th400? I am going to go turbo down the road and I want a T-brake but I would actually like to see some rear wheel power numbers close to or into the 4 digit range. Could a th350 hold that much power or would it be a useless task? I'm not looking at jumping into this next week... just trying to finish up my ideas so I can start ordering parts and stuff.

I think if you're pushing hp in the 1,000+ range you have no worries of the supposed 28 hp loss (or whatever it is) of running a th400.
I'd forget Rossler on this, you can build your own th400 that will hold 1200+ with readily available parts for well under $800.
Or I could anyway, I have some parts on hand already.

A TH400 will take that abuse all day long. It really depends on your weight. 3100 Is about the most (ideally) that a TH350 can take. Most people that race TH350's have to get them rebuilt more frequently. IMO, A TH400 would be the most hassle free transmission you could use to put down that much power regularly.
