HEy guys i have an a4 02 camaro ss. When im driving along about 60 and goto pass someone my engine revs then the car jurks hard but then the engine goes down to about 4500 rpm and stays there untill i let off, if i try and get it to go faster it wont. Is this a problem with my converter or my tranny.

It sounds like your fluid needs to be checked/changed. If the fluid is fine, your clutches/bands could be on there way out. Does it only do it when you floor it? Does it do it all the time?

 

Well it only revs up and jurks when i floor it but it does feel like its slipping when it shifts gears in just regular driving. I feels as if it takes the tranny a lil longer to shift than it should.
