Default Time to change the fluid???

I have had this rebuilt 4L60E for a year now and have put about 15-20k miles on it. 5 months after i got it I installed a yank SS3800 converter with all the goodies (cooler & shift kit). With all of that going on, should I change my tranny fluid? This car is my daily driver too.

If the fluid looks & smells ok, leave it alone. You only need to change it when it starts to show signs of "wear" (the looking and or smelling burnt). When this happens, do a "complete" change of the fluid.
