Grinding Noise when rolling?

Default Grinding Noise when rolling?

I get a grinding noise when rolling after I come to a stop.....Coming from the front of the car, goes away when shifted into neutral. Any idea's...

i'd drop the pan and check for any debris/ shavings.

I bet the same thing happend to you as did my dad. He has a 96 Silverado and he broke a hard part in the first gear of his tranny. Take off in first and it sounds like gravel in the tranny. Take off in second and no noise at all.

Uh oh....Sounds pretty bad! The shop did some abuse to my car and this is a result from it, they gotta look at it Monday, the employee got fired already.
