Default th400 rebuild kit

hey guys, got a question..i am currently slowly gathering up the parts to do my conversion from a 4l60 to a th400 in my 98..so far all i have is the tranny..(a short tailshfaft th400 out of a 70's chevelle).. i already have the flexplate since i have a 98 already..i will get the tranny buit here locally..i am wondering if anyone sells a good racing rebuild kit for the th400 with the revese vb and tranny brake..i know that the company that makes the "raptor" trans has a prefomance kit but have had mixed reviews of them..going to odered a madman dipstick tube and try to decide what stall to go with and what brand..thinking of going with a 4000 stall..have 3.73's in the rear right now..will not street drive very much..i love teh 4000 thats in it now.. anyways does anyone know of a good place that would sell a good quality kit along with t brake and all.. i am not to familiar with trannies as ive never even opened one up but it is to my understanding with the t- brake you dont need a few parts that would normally come with a rebuid kit and i correct? it is the valve body and alll right? sorry im not a tranny man i just take one out and put another in.. by the way my setup makes from 450-500 depending on what jets i put in.. thanks everyone ..

yes but his does not come with a trans brake correct? isnt the trans brake a whole new valve body, therefore i would not need the shift kit and modulater but instead a t-brake.. which would eliminate both? me=not a tranny builder

First, why are you going with a transbrake? If this setup is for the street at all, why would you want a transbrake? First, keep the forward shift pattern & modulator, it is much easier on the drive line & the transmission will live much longer, much more streetable, more fun to drive, safer, & will be user friendly, instead of user antaginistic.
