Default convertor/flywheel?

trying to order a new convertor for a TH400 swap and i need to know how many teeth are on a stock 98 ls1 flywheel?

There are 153 teeth on the flexplate.

I talked to a few others and they all said 168. i think the 153 is for the older model cars. anyways thanks for the help.

The 168 is used on BBC. I test fitted an SBC flexplate to my Z28 and it had the same amount of teeth, 153. Good luck either way.

Thanks any ways. FMS told me that all LS1's have 168 stock. either way i just want the convertor to bolt up to the flywheel when it gets here rather than having to send it back.
