Default Car won't downshift out of overdrive

2 weeks ago I noticed that at freeway speeds my car will no longer downshift into 3rd when floored. Now the tranny stays locked and won't downshift at all. The only tuning that has been done for the transmission is the deletion of Torque Mgmt. and adjustments for changing from 2:73's to 3:73's. Tranny cooler and torque converter were both installed about a year ago.

Do you think this is a transmission issue or a programming issue? Thanks for any input!

I think its a programming issue. I went from 3.23's to 3.73's but it still downshifted from OD. What mine did was it shorten all of my shift points. My car wouldn't go past 4000rpm in any gear. I had to set it back to stock on my HPP3. Every time i type in 3.73 it starts messing up.

im going to agree- what are you using to tune shift points? how about if you manually shift it?

I'm using LS1edit to tune the car, but we've never been able to correct early shifts (around 4500 rpms) since the gears were changed. When shifted manually the car stilll pulls like crazy.

Could the tranny be in limp mode?
