Slipping

Slipping Have a built 4l60 that came out of the car 2 months ago and has been waiting to go back in and just put it back in. It was fine when I took it out. I put a 408 motor in and now when i get on it in D or OD, it feels like its slipping real bad...like passing the power right through the tranny.
But when I manual shift...1st, 2nd, 3rd, ....it feels perfectly fine.
Any ideas? It is and always has been vacuum modulated and yes the vacuum line is plugged in.

And guess what? I had disabled misfire detection completely while trying to tune the motor because it was running pretty rough at idle stop.
I wonder if this is why its slipping when I let the computer shift? Cant check until tomorrow most likely...

Nope, that wasnt it.
Its kinda like...it goes through a gear and then when it is supposed to shift, it feels like it falls out of gear and over-revs
But if I am not on it, it shifts through the gears fine...
