Default Automatic Trans Slipping.....Help!

Alright, when i drive my TA at WOT and the trans is about to shift,I sometimes let of the throttle and when I try to hit the throttle again it just revs up then it just goes away and I can accelerate again, What the hell is that. Is it me letting off the throttle before shifts or is that a more serieous problem I should look into. Any imput at all would be greatly appreciated.

A 4L60E trans needs all of it's inputs to correctly shift, by lifting at or near the shift point you are showing the PCM a decreasing TP % right about the time it wants to shift. It can cause a bit of a "logic tie-up" resulting in some weird actions from the valve body. Just because the trans is computer controlled doesn't mean it can react that fast. You probably don't have a transmission problem....keep your foot in it.
