Superior shift kit?

Superior shift kit? Hello, i'm in the process of getting a shift kit for my tranny and i was set on buying the transgo stage 2 when the guy who was going to do it told me to buy a superior shift kit. 
I had never heard of superior shift kits, but this guy has been in transmissions for over 40 years. I don't want to act like this know-it-all 21 year old so i said i'll check into it. Anybody ever heard of it and does anybody have any feedback on it? Thanks for your help.

Superior Products are ok for th350 transmissions.
I know because I've used a few.
It really depends on what transmission you're putting it in.
For a th400 I would only use a TransGo.
For a 4L60 I would only use transgo.
For a 4L60E I might try something else but used transgo.
Superior has been around for a long time as Fairbanks.
They seem to be about half the price of other brands.

The "modified" Trans-Go Performance Shift kit that I use will do more in the way of accumulation, (sooth part throttle & firm WOT shifts) than any other kit. It also gives you the back to manual low valve too. This overrides the computer when you want to hold low gear or go back to manual low. If you have any questions on this, let me know? I have been using Trans-Go since late 1977 with much success.
i swear by the trans-go in a 4l60e
not only do you get a full manual v.b. they also have awesome customer support and you get a new tcc valve that does not pusle on engagement - very important if you are apllying tcc at the track.

i have one in my TH400 in my GTO; it seems to work well. I had to adjust out the vacuum modulator quite a bit after it was installed - at first shifts were almost undetectable. I've never heard of anyone using one on a 4l60e.

My transmission is a 4L60E. Isn't it the same thing as a 700R4? I saw they had different kits for the 700, but only two for the 4L60E. I didn't build up my tranny or anything, but we put the transgo stage 2 on a 4L60E from a 96 camaro and I liked the results. I could feel the shifts and I feel like I can trust it. I'm wondering if anyone knows how the superior shifts feel? Should I go with what he says or what I was originally gonna get the transgo stage 2?
