Default how hard to install?

i want to install a stall converter on my 99z, i previously owned a 91 talon tsi and took the tranny out 3 times on that, ive heard that its easier to take a chevy tranny out. Could i do this being my first time trying, or am i gonna need some help. I have basic mechanic skills and some but am i pushing my luck.

My guess is this thing weighs more than the Mitsu unit. Top bolt is a bitch to reach.

I did my TQ swap all by myself. Was not that hard, I had to cut my y-pipe, get a whole bunch of extension like 36" to get all the tranny bolts out. Ummmm, the tranny lines do not need to be unscrewed from the case just remove clips(thats a good hint) one of the flywheel bolt holes is oblong so you will need to round it out (wish I would have known that) You can do it, just make sure the TQ is completely seated or you will burn your pump out. When I say I did it myself I mean I did it myself. Oh yeah unbolt factory TQ prior to dropping tranny. Hope this helps, I have to go to work but if you want more details pm me and I will walk you through it.
