Default neutral safety switch,REV lights

anyone have any info on what wires to rig up the nss and reverse lights on an auto? all i have found is stuff for the m6..right now i have my hammer shifter in and i just have the stock black "box" with the 5 or 6 wires going into it.. (the one that is mounted on the side of the factory a4 shifter) in order to start it i have to move the little selector by hand to engage the switch...its just danglign there..i can check it with a meter tomorrow just wanted a heads up..also any idea on which wires are teh reverse lights?

I notice your car is a '98 and I have a wiring diagram that shows both M6 and A4. The light green and brown wires are the reverse lights. The purple/white and the dark green wires are the Park/NSS.
