Default Need help choosing a converter for my TH400

What brand is everyone using for there setups?
Anyone have any experience with redneck racing on ebay? For $250. Why not try it huh? They seem like a pretty good product.

I dont got 1000.00 + for a good torque converter. If anything. my price range is about 400-600 for one. I'm planning on spraying 150-200 shot with a TH400 and a T-brake. Motor alone is just a heads and cam car. The car will be on the street once and a while, but mostly on the track. Should get a 4200 stall converter?

A 4200 stall is too high if you're spraying. What other mods do you have?

With that info, I would suggest a stall around the 3200-3400 range. It will remain nitrous friendly and work well with the cam. Without juice, I would go higher on the stall with that cam, but nitrous likes lower stalls. What tires do you plan on running? That will determine the STR you should go with.
Also, high cost does not always equal quality.
