Default Need help with TH400???????????

I have a 2000 A4 (4L60E) that's gone south and I want to change to a TH 400. Could someone please tell me where I can buy a built TH400 and all the parts I will need for a complete conversion. Thank you.

I want to say a good informative website is www.transmissioncenter.net

Although you can still use your stock torque arm, this site recommended the Spohn setup which Im not a fan of.

I use the Yank X-member for a t400 setup, stock TA and my speedo doesnt work right now but it can with a few parts and some Edit time. I didnt use the crank shaft spacer, nor did I buy the Yank tranny adaptor plate. The T400 will bolt right up to the back of a LS1 minus about 3 bolt holes not being used. I use the Madman dipstick, you could use the longer Lokar setup as well. I had a driveshaft cut for the car with HD u-joints and you can run new cooler lines or modify the existing ones buy taking your fittings out of your 4L60E and installing then in your T400

Ill leave it to you to find a good th400, i had someone local build mine.

You need:

1)BMR Track Pack torque arm kit (spohn makes one to)
2) suframes to weld cross member for t/a
3)aftermarket shifter
3) bmr cross member
4) different length driveshaft and yolk. (measure to see how long it need to be after swap)
5) 1990 GMC 454 SS truck "pig tail" speed sensor. I cant remember how many wires it was but you have to splice it in to other wires on the harness.
6)different fluid dip stick

I hope i didnt forget anything..
