Default Trans Jerking After TC Install

Just put in a Thundr Racing 24/24 Cam and a TCI 3000 tc.

I noticed that in Overdrive when I do NOT have my foot on the throttle or brake between 30-35 the car starts jerking and you can hear a slapping type noise under the car.

If I have it in Drive the same thing happens between 20-25 but NOT 30-35.

If I have my foot on the throttle in the least bit or on the brake it doesn't do it at all.

Is this just the PCM & TC not getting along at those spots or is the TC got an issue?

Thanks in advance

Can you log the gear to see if the trans is downshifting or remaining in a high gear? I s the converter locked? It could be just a case of cam surge.

As long as it is not the converter out of balance causing a viberation, tuning would take care of those issues. Not a hard tuning fix for your cam and TC.
