B&M Pro Stick install - pics
I just installed a th400 and at the same time installed a B&M Pro Stick shifter.
I cut a mounting plate from 1/8" aluminum and drilled it to screw into the stock shifter holes in the car. The ProStick shifter is spaced up and then fastened to the plate.
Then fasten the shifter/plate to the car.
Had to drill a new hole for the cable to pass through and also trimmed the console cover for the shifter to pass through. Just used a dremel with cut off disks for that and then added some trim edging to finish it off. I think it turned out well.
It is fully possible to install the shifter without the aluminum cover and not have to trim the console area and you don't really need to space it up then. But I liked the look of the aluminum cover so I did it this way.
