Ok. All finished. Here's the final product.
The first two are in the car of course. The second are under car so u can get a look at the cable hole and the brackets and sheet metal. Also check out the sweet crossmember Brett from BMR built for the TH400

That looks great! That handle's got to go though. Ever though about a round **** with the button on the top for the line lock or t-brake?

Thanks everyone. Now I just have to get the damn tranny and rear end under the car. We're doing it saturday Richie if you're reading this so get your muscles ready

Ryan - Personally I like the T-handle shifter. Guess that's just my taste. I will be buying one with a button for my T-brake in the near future

Bob

What kind of details are you looking for. As far as working on an A4 it WOULD work buy you would probably have to fabricate a bracket for the shift cable linkage. Not positive on this I dont think it would set any codes or anything like that. Or if you converted the A4 to a manual valve body it would work as well.

Jim. Well I havent actually tried to see if they work yet as the tranny and rear end are going in this weekend. But from what I can tell I have everything hooked up right so they SHOULD work (crossing fingers)

camaro. Yes the car was a M6 before the swap

just a FYI

i wouldn't put the transbrake button on the top of the shifter

i know too many people through the process of shifting that have accidently hit the button during a shift and ohhhh is that not a pretty sight

i'd mount it somewhere else. Most people like to have a button wired to a long wire and put the button on the steering wheel while racing, near the top
