Default how is this torque converter???

242931 Torque Converter, 4L60E LS1 StreetFighter

StreetFighterŽ
Cam duration:280° to 300°
Rear ration: 3.55 to 4.56
Expected stall speeds: small block 3000 to 3400 / big block 3400 to 3600

i found an amazing price on it. do u guys think its a good converter?

if it is a "streetfighter" it is a tci unit- probably 3000 stall. do a search there is 1000000000000000000027 threads on it

That's the one I just installed. Yep, many threads on it already. TCI is also a board sponsor.

I had to get a converter overnight for a tranny repair, so I ordered from that non-sponsor that starts with "J" and rhymes with "legs".

I like it a lot so far, very similar in street manners to my Y3000 2.0. It's been in for about 4 days.

i have the streetfighter verter and could not be any more happy.
its a 3000 stall.

I most likely will be a decent converter. What is the STR of this converter. I would call Yank, Vig or TCI and talk to them about choosing the right TC. If you are looking at TCI, the SSF3500 would be a better choice

I had a 3800 TCI SSF in the 4L60e and I loved it. It hit hard and netted me some 1.4 60ft times at the track. Had to get rid of it to go to a 4L80e. I agree that the SSF 3500 is a good choice, but it is really personal taste on stall speed. The 3000 will have good drivability but not as much punch as a 3500.
