Default Trans Brake guys...

Anyone with a trans brake, What kind of tires are you running? What are your 60ft's? I am running 26 x 10.5 x 16 ET Streets and launching off the T-brake just roastes the hell out of the tires.

TH-400, 4200 stall, launch off T/B and 2-step (2-step at 4000rmp)... best 60' on a 200 shot out of the hole 1.35 on 30x9 Goodyears, ran weight 3553lbs; this year dropped 300+lbs, going with 30x10.5 Hoosiers. Hoping for 1.2??? 60's.

M/T ET Drag slicks 28x9 should work better for you. I ran them at the 1st of last year and than switch to 30x9. With the 28x9 I did not have to modify any on the fenders - well I was running Convo Pro with only 5"B/S, and the rear-end narrowed 1.5" each side.

Brad,
Why do you have a 4k stall and 28x9 slicks?

You should have a 5200-5500 stall and 29x10 slicks.

You would pick up a TON.

Thinking about going with the 28x9-15's. I bought the Telstar 15x8's with 5"BS. I don't know whether to go with the Hoosiers or the MT drags. Any results from either of them? I heard the Hoosiers are a little stickier.
