I have a single disc Vig 3600 on a 100 I busted 1.500 60'. PI says that all their verters are nitrous verters.

For sure they should all be able to handle N2O/Boost.

Did you shoot it off the line?

How much did your flash stall go up with the 100 shot?

From what to what? Like 3600 to 4200?

I really didn't pay attention to the tach I was too busy holding on to the steering wheel and making sure the car was straight. Its very brutal off the line, like getting hit in the *** by a semi. I never launched with nitrous before until then, I just hit after I hooked. I normaly bust 1.60 something 60' times hitting the nirous after the launch. I normly have high 1.6's on motor though.

So is that it? Only a couple of people on this board run a multidisc?

That can't be?

I bought one for a 4L80e but don't have it in yet. Build quality is really good.

Very interesting, I was thinking of going that route, 4L80E?

How is that working out for you? Is the computer controlling the shifting?

How can you tell the build quality from the outside.
(Not a flame, I really mean that.)

Your not launching with the 100 shot if you did you would bust the same time. I believe that I could have done a little better but my 2-3 shift sucks. My tune for my tranny has some issues that needs to be worked out so I don't think that you want any part of my tune. I'm about to get a rebuild, I have a have the limited street rebuild kit from Probuilt sitting in the floor waitng to be installed along with the reend parts that need to be replaced.

I have a ls1edit flash with a 4L80e software with my fbody tune that was custom made by ken. I don't have it running yet so I can't give opinions. It has not been an easy swap and I have had to do lots tweaks to make everything fit right. What I meant is the case is almost all billet. Much nicer than my previous tci converter. Hopefully it works as good as it looks.

From what I have learned, is that the multi-discs really don't flash as much as singles.
I believe it is from the heavier unit and the ever so slight drag from the multiple discs. Apparently all single disc converters drag ever so slightly as well but with the lesser contact area you tend to flash higher.

But, the stall on the multi-discs are spot on. For the same reason I stated above.

I would venture to guess that a multi-disc is only necessary for a power adder car. I don't think an NA car will benefit from one too much.

The converter I choose was for the t88 that is going on top of my 422 that I have now. A high stall is not what I want. I pulled 1.45 60's off my 3800 stall tci launching off 1200 rpm. The vig is only a 3400 stall. I hope to pick up better street manners with it.
