Debating on what I should do for a converter...
I was thinking of getting it restalled to a 3600.
THen I started thinking of maybe getting a new converter and selling the one I currently have...
If I did go with a new converter, what would be a good choice since I plan on spraying also...
Thanks in advance...
I believe Raughammer runs a YANK TP4400... but I'm not 100% on that... he seemed to have good luck with that making a 10.86 pass on it.
So I plan on getting the 427 stroker built hopefully by April. It takes him about 2-3 months to build an engine on the side since he is so busy building engines for alot of the local speed shops in the Houston area.
So that yall know what kind of engine I am getting built, what would be a good converter??? <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0"> <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0"> <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">
With out knowing more info...and plans for the car.
The ProYank 3600 Extreme. Will keep you in your power range.
Call me sometimes and we can talk it more... but you should be pretty happy with the above converter. Anything looser and the motor will rap out... WAY too fast. You have seen Cato's dyno run..yes?
My Yank TP-E4400 ended up flashing around 5300 after I did the ARE 418ci. The torque of the motor affects the stall speed.
If you did a bigger converter you might end up having to change it again.
