help fast please!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 hey guys.. i am DONE putting my car back together and dammit if i cant even get it off the ramps..i needed a shifter cable for my 98 a4 trans am. well i bought a 94 ta and it had the shifter cable still intact so i thought id use that instead..well i put them side by side and they were the same length etc..i payed no attentiuon to the ball and socket on the end..the 97 is smaller than my 98.. 
well this means i either need a cable from a 98 and up or the shifter arm for the 94..my question does anyone know if the shifer cables or arms are teh same on the auto v6 cars? reason i ask is i pretty much no what they have in regards to f-bodys at the local yards..im a regular there..but they usually dont have any v8 cars so if they dont have one ill have to order one from gm..i really want to get it going today so any help? thanks matt
