A couple of friends installed a Transgo shift kit in one of the local cars this weekend (I didn't install it, others did). Anyhow, they put 9 quarts of fluid in it (looks OK on the dipstick) but the car still doesn't move. It moved once in reverse - but not any more.
Linkage looks OK, we think electrical connectors inside are OK, and the video was followed closely by the guys who were installing (I did a Transgo here a couple weeks ago, and the car is happy and fine ).
I hooked up AutoTap, but I'm not sure it reads Tranny stuff correctly on 2002's (it's a 2002 T/A). The gear select never changes from 3 (even in 2 or 1), and the gear ratio select doesn't change to 2.0x when you go in to reverse. The force motor doesn't register in reverse either (there's another T/A parked out back that I hooked Atap to).
Any help, thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated before we tear in to the valvebody again.
Thanks,
Andrew
(seems like when I don't do the work, my friends cars get broken! :eek
