V8 torque converter on V6?

Hey guys, I know I don't post here much but I need your help. I want to know if torque converters for the ls1 cars will fit on my 2002 V6 bird. I want to get a high performance one and I know they have the same tranny but wanted to know if i have to look at ones for specifically v6 applications or if I can browse the ls1 section.

No, they are very diff.
and can not be made to work

I don't believe Yank does. But percision industries makes one. its a 2800 or 3000 stall.

WE have be making GM converters for all types of transmissions for 20 years and do make that model in 14 different stall speeds
