Default Looking for TH-400 advice from builders

A friend of mine is putting together a th400 for me and wants to know whether I want a aluminum or cast iron valve body.My car is mainly used to drive to and from the track and occasional cruises.I also use nitrous if that affects the choice any. He also wants to know what transbrake to use.Anyone have a favorite brand or one that I should stay away from?

If all comes down to prefrence and cost. I prefer it not to cost alot!! Go with what works well for the cost.
