Default 1-2 shift problem???

I just got a 2001 Z28 camaro. Its a A4 with 2.73 w/28,000 miles. I have noticed that the 1-2 shift is kind of rough it jerks the whole car just on that shift. I am wondering if that is something to be concerned about or not.

1-2 is pretty rough on our cars. I like it though. I wouldn't worry about it, mines been doing it for 43k miles just fine. Does it scratch the tires on the 1-2 wot shift?

The mechanical properties of the 1-2 shift are a lot stronger than what happens during the 2-3 3-4 hence the frimer shifts.

Yeah it spins the tires at WOT on the 1-2. I wasnt sure if hard shift was normal or not. Thanks for the advice.
